PPNZ is governed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives from the major record labels as well as an equal number from the independent sector of the industry including recording artists themselves.

While PPNZ is governed by its Board of Directors to ensure best practice and good governance, the day to day running of its operations sits with the team at PPNZ led by the Managing Director.

The Managing Director has delegated authority to set all aspects of applicable licensing schemes (including the setting of tariffs) and does so with consideration of the legal position in New Zealand and most especially under the Copyright Act 1994 and the Commerce Act 1986.

PPNZ has an experienced team, who are always happy to help you with your enquiries or questions. We understand that music licensing is just one of many business issues you are dealing with - so our aim is to make the process quick, easy and affordable.
