The licence terms and conditions, including the tariffs that apply to broadcasters in this category, are those outlined in the Copyright Tribunal decision issued on 21st May 2010.
The tariff for music stations using more than 20% of broadcast time for sound recordings is 3% of net advertising revenues (i.e. less external commissions only) and 0.75% for stations using less than 20% music for total broadcast time. These rates apply from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.
